Blinds and Awnings for Restaurants

Case Study: Pan Am Bar & Restaurant

Liverpool

We were approached by SHS Sales and Marketing with a view to supplying a solution to the front of Pan Am Bar & Restaurant on the Albert Docks in Liverpool. This is a trendy, beautiful bar in a historic part of Liverpool, but the signage was looking a little dated.

The challenge was apparent; to provide some clear signage for the entrance doors in a contemporary and sharp design. To start with, we had to establish what type of covering they wanted, be it a retractable awning or a fixed canopy. Very quickly we eliminated the retractable awning, as the customer wanted something simple that would stay fixed in place.

The main aim of this project would be to clearly indicate the entrance to the bar and market both the name of the bar and the main lager that it supplies, which is Krusovice lager.

We then looked at the different canopy designs available, and very quickly settled on the French canopy with side-box. This design fitted in perfectly with the customer’s vision of how they wanted the front of the restaurant to look. They then decided to go with black as the fabric colour, and a crisp white for the main logo, with the Krusovice logo in a stunning gold.
