Commercial Blinds
How does it work?

Step 1
It’ll begin when you contact us through our form or by phone. We’ll arrange a time for us to discuss your needs further.

Step 2
We’ll work with you to understand what you want from this. We’ll ask about your business & your vision, and offer you suggestions.

Step 3
After we’ve had a discussion we’ll arrange a time for us to come to measure your frames and install the blinds that you’ve chosen.

Protection from Expression
We supply our commercial blind fabrics with an SPC (solar protective coating), which helps to greatly reduce glare and heat, making the workplace a safer, more comfortable environment. This is particularly beneficial for members of your staff that are using computer screens; the reduction of glare on computer screens reduces the dangers of eye-strain and other related conditions.
All our commercial fabrics contain the Easy Wipe property, making it easier for you to clean them.
Commercial Blinds FAQs
What Can I Expect From The Commercial Blinds Fitting Process?
The first thing to think about when you’re fitting commercial blinds is the free consultation you’ll have with one of our expert fitters – give us a call, and we’ll find a time that suits you and send our fitter out to talk through what you need!
Once they’re there, the fitter will talk you through the manufacturing process, explain all the available options, talk you through what you’re looking for and how we can achieve it, and make careful measurements of your windows. They’ll provide a quote, and take a 50% deposit to cover materials – since all our blinds are custom-made, we can’t recoup our losses if a client cancels without that deposit, so it is unfortunately necessary.
We will then custom-make your blinds to fit, and deliver them at a time that suits you, where your fitters will quickly install them and provide any aftercare information. After that, you can enjoy your new blinds!
Should I Fit My Blinds Inside Or Outside The Recess?
Blinds can be fitted inside or outside the window recess, and which one you choose depends on the depth of your window recess and what you want to achieve with your blinds. Normally, a recess depth of 7.5cm or less is too shallow for in-recess blinds, but talk to your fitter to explore your options if that’s the case for you.
You’ll also want to think about what sort of blinds you’d like to fit – venetian blinds roller blinds and vertical blinds are all best suited to being fitted within the recess, while other blinds types, like roman blinds, look great outside of it. When in doubt, remember that our fitters are seasoned experts who’ll be happy to help advise you on the best ways to place and fit your commercial blinds.
Do Roller Blinds Look Better In The Recess?
Roller blinds are almost always fitted in the recess because that’s where they look best – mounted close to the window, they’re out of the way and able to block light more effectively. Outside the recess, roman blinds are a great option – they let plenty of filtered light in and look fantastic.
What Commercial Blinds Are Easiest To Maintain?
A key thing to consider with commercial blinds is how easy they are to maintain – tough, hardy and long-lasting blinds that are easy to clean and maintain will always be a great option for your business, and we’d recommend roller blinds, panel blinds and vertical blinds for those reasons. Roller blinds in particular are easy to clean and operate on a simple mechanism that can still be working flawlessly years after installation!
What Child-Safe Blinds Options Are Available For Commercial Blinds?
A variety of child-safe blinds types are available for your commercial premises, including cordless blinds and rod-operated blinds – although the safest and most effective in our opinion are Perfect Fit blinds, which are self-contained within their frames and operated simply by moving the blinds themselves. Since Perfect Fit blinds have no hanging cords or dangling components, they’re a great option for child safety on your premises. Call us today to talk through your options with one of our fitters – we’d be happy to help.
