Case Study: Equity Housing Group
We were approached by Equity Housing in to help with a decant of a large housing scheme in Stockport. The scheme itself was to be demolished and a new, improved scheme built in its place. The immediate issue was that they had around 90 occupied flats, so each tenant needed either temporary or permanent rehousing.
As well as offering compensation for the tenants having to move, Equity offered to redecorate every new home they found, which included new blinds, and this is where Expression stepped in! It was a challenging project as tight deadlines were in place to get the tenants moved out of the scheme, and also each client had different requirements for their new blinds. However, we worked closely with the housing association managers, and managed to get all the new blinds installed in time for the complete decant of Fulstone Mews. They will also be calling us back when the new scheme is complete for blinds throughout!
Case Study: Adactus
We have been working closely with Adactus Housing Association since 2013, when they first asked us to quote for blinds in the communal areas of a scheme refurbishment on the Wirral. They were delighted with our quote for white 50mm wooden blinds throughout the corridor and lounge windows, and the finished job looked fantastic. Since then, we have supplied blinds for over 20 scheme refurbishments, with each usually requiring 30 – 40 blinds, and there are many more in the pipeline!
Each scheme has come with it’s own challenges, and has required our team working closely with project managers, site managers and scheme coordinators. Through our work with the sheltered team, we have also been recommended to other areas of the business, and we have provided blinds to homes for the elderly, those with learning difficulties, and vulnerable tenants. Many residents have seen the blinds fitted in communal areas and requested the same blinds in their own flats too! We look forward to working on many more projects with Adactus in the future!
