How to Order Custom Blinds in the UK From Expression Blinds
Step One: The Consultation
The first step of our custom blinds process is a free consultation with a fitter, where you’ll be able to talk through everything you want and they can take the necessary measurements. It’s a no-obligation consultation, and your fitter will be one of our seasoned experts who’ll be able to explain all the available options, what blinds would suit best or functionally work the best for your needs, and how the rest of the process works. Once you have settled on what sort of blinds you’d like, your expert fitter will then take careful measurements and notes that can be used during the manufacturing process, and provide you with a quote for the work.
Step Two: Manufacturing
After your consultation, if you’re happy to go ahead with manufacturing, you’ll be asked to pay 50% of the overall cost of the blinds to cover materials. This is unfortunately unavoidable for custom blinds, since they’re built completely to your specifications and won’t fit any other window, so they’re next to impossible to sell to anyone else if you should cancel your order for any reason.
Once that’s sorted, our manufacturing experts will get to work building your blinds. We always make our blinds as sturdy, durable and easy-to-operate as possible for our customers, so they’ll provide years of effective work and be easy to maintain. We’ll notify you when your blinds have finished being made, and arrange a time that suits you for a quick installation.
Step Three: Installation
The final step of your custom blinds order is our installation process – which is always a quick and painless experience! Our fitters are seasoned experts, and thanks to the blinds being made especially to your measurements, they’ll fit perfectly every time.
Your fitter will call you to find a time that suits you, and be in and out before you know it – leaving you to enjoy your brand new custom blinds set!
