Can Expression Blinds Fit Curtains Without Drilling Holes In My Wall?

Yes! Using a tension rod, our expert blinds fitters are able to hang curtains for you without drilling into your wall. A tension rod curtain rail essentially works like a shower curtain rail, pressing outwards on two opposing walls to keep itself up. For this reason, it may not be suitable for very heavy curtains.

What Height Is Best For Hanging Curtains?

This depends on several factors – the length of your curtains, the size of your windows, the style you’re aiming for – and that’s just one reason why we always recommend professional fitting services wherever possible. Ideally, your curtains should hover just above the floor, but this can be a tricky balance to strike – speak to one of our expert fitters about it if you’re in any doubt!

Do Curtains Have To Be Hung Face Out?

Your curtains will have a nicer-looking fabric side and a denser, less pleasant-looking woven side. That less-pretty side should face outward, as it’s been designed to take the brunt of the sun damage that would otherwise bleach your curtains over time.
