Introducing the new and improved INTU products – the incredible ‘INTU Micro’ blinds range!

INTU Micro Blinds work in much the same way as perfect fit blinds – they fit perfectly to your UPVC window frames, in an elegant and simple frame that clips directly onto the windowframe without damaging it. However, unlike ordinary perfect fit or INTU blinds, the INTU Micro uses a much more compact and low-profile housing for its pleated blinds, meaning it won’t protrude past the window frame itself – perfect for a low-profile blinds solution and even better for bifold doors and other complex systems with lots of moving windows!

The advantage of this system are numerous:

No drilling or damage to the window frame, the blinds simply clip into place on brackets that slot behind the rubber seal
Blinds sit flush to the frames, leaving the window sills clutter free, creating space to put picture frames and ornaments

INTU blinds work on the same installation principle as the Perfect Fit, with the key difference being no frame running around the edges of the blind. We also have the option of ‘Screw-Fix INTU’, which can be installed to wooden window frames without the rubber seal.

The small frame size and low profile of INTU Micro blinds makes them perfect as bifold door blinds. Unlike other blinds types, the INTU Micro has such a low profile that you’ll be able to use the doors completely unobstructed.

This is also true for other complex window arrangements, not just bifold doors – INTU Micro blinds attach directly to the windowframe without screws or bolts, and sit below the level of the frame, so you’ll always be able to move your windows as if they weren’t there at all!

They Include High-Quality Pleated Blinds

In order to make the blinds housing as small as possible, the INTU Micro blind uses a carefully pleated blind as its main component. These pleated blinds are made with a high-quality insulating fabric and can be made with blackout material or a material that will allow some light to filter in.

Like all pleated blinds, they help boost the insulation of your doors or windows, and can be adjusted up or down to the exact height that suits you, for maximum light control and privacy.

They’re also available in a huge range of colours and finishes, although white, anthracite grey and brown are the most popular in our experience. The blinds themselves can be made in a range of colours and patterns to suit your decor needs – just ask your fitter for their advice on the options, and they’ll be happy to help you!

INTU Micro Blinds Are Quick And Easy To Fit

INTU Micro blinds clip securely to your UPVC window frame by sliding beneath the rubber seal around the window, so there’s no need for nails or screws and no damage done to the window frame.

This means that once our blinds fitters take all the necessary measurements, we can prepare the exact blinds size for your windows, and then installation will be a breeze! Since everything has been made to fit, they’ll simply clip into place, and you’ll be ready to go with no hassle and very little disruption to your day.

Different Frame Colours Available

As the majority of window frames are white UPVC, INTU Micro blinds use a white frame as standard, so they fit perfectly against the existing colourscheme. However, we can also offer our customers other options, like brown, anthracite grey, golden oak and dark mahogany – whatever suits your windows!

Anthracite bifold doors look fantastic and are becoming very popular, and they match perfectly with our anthracite grey INTU micro blinds – in both colour and function!

Blind Safety for Children & Pets

INTU Micro blinds are extremely safe, and ideal for children’s rooms, nurseries or play areas, as they have no loose cords or ties, and no wall-mounted frame that could be pulled down. Most blinds safety issues come from the use of loops or cords which pose a strangulation or entanglement hazard, and although all blinds we fit have child safety devices, INTU Micro blinds are designed without any dangerous elements from the start. INTU Micro blinds also sit right against the window with an extremely inconspicuous profile, which reduces the temptation for children or pets to play with the blinds in the first place.
