A customer from High Legh got in touch wanted to find the perfect blind for their kitchen window. Their initial thoughts were for roller blinds, as they wanted something that could be waterproof, but they also wanted the ability to tilt the blinds to control light and privacy which rollers don’t allow.

We therefore recommended faux wood blinds. These are a new innovation, and give the look of a real wood blind, but are made from acrylic. This looks great, but is also waterproof so is ideal for a kitchen where it can get splashed with water. Moreover, grease can easily be wiped off. The slats can be positioned to provide privacy when required or opened fully to allow maximum light into the room.

In terms of colour, the customer wanted them to be neutral but not too clinical. We therefore suggested a white slat with light grey tapes. This matched some grey colours already in the room, whilst softening the overall white appearance of the blind. We think it looks stunning!
