How We Work
When will I pay for the blinds?
At your initial appointment you’ll be given a quote for your new blinds. If you’re happy at that point we charge a 50% deposit, before we make the blinds for you, and then once the blinds are fitted and you are happy we will collect the balance.
Do I have to purchase the blinds after the first appointment?
No, there is no obligation to purchase the blinds. Your first appointment will include measuring the required space for blinds, then you will be given a quote. There is no charge for the initial measure and quote for the blinds.
How can I make payment for the blinds?
At this moment in time we don’t accept card payments, but we can accept cash, cheque or we can supply our bank details for a bank transfer.
Can I see your blinds range before making an appointment?
Of course, you can view some of the blinds and fabrics we supply online here. If you wish, you can supply us with the window sizes and the fabric you like from the online books and we can supply a quotation. If you wish to proceed with the order, we would then need to make an appointment to take exact measurements, and you can view the actual fabric samples to make sure the colour is just right.
Which areas do you cover?
The map below shows our rough coverage area in the North West. We may be able to travel further for certain types of work, so please get in touch if you’re unsure. We also provide blinds as supply-only, so if you’re not in our range, you can order your made to measure blinds with us, and have them delivered with instructions!
Do you fit conservatory blinds?
Yes, we do, and we can fit blinds to both the windows and roof of your conservatory. For more information on our conservatory blind fitting, visit our Conservatory Blinds information page.
Can I get an estimated quote based on my measurements?
Yes, if you fill out our contact form with your measurements, email them to us, or call us, and also let us know the type of blinds you’d like, we can give you a rough quote. It’s best to call us for this, as we can ask any further questions to make sure the quote is as accurate as possible.
We can then visit your home and confirm the quote & measurements with you.
Do you fit blinds outside of office hours, or on weekends?
Yes, we are flexible when it comes to fitting times. We will endeavor to book an installation time that works best for you and your family/office. As a general rule we can schedule fittings up to 7pm at night, and on Saturday daytimes too.
What are the minimum and maximum sizes of blinds that you can make?
This varies for the type of blind required. It is best to contact us directly to ascertain the answer to this.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes, we provide a 2 year guarantee on all work carried out.
How quickly can you visit me?
This will depend upon the time you contact us. We can in some circumstances come out to visit the same day, but as a general rule we can usually come out within a couple of days of the enquiry. As always we will try our best to accomodate all our customers needs.
Once I’ve placed my order, how long do I have to wait to have the blinds installed?
This depends upon the type of blind ordered. Most ranges take 2-3 weeks, some more specialist ranges can take a little longer. We do offer a fast track service on vertical blinds, subject to fabric availability. This can get the blinds ready in 3-4 working days.
Are the blinds safe for children and/or pets?
Yes, most definitely. There are very strict guidelines for the manufacture and installation of all window blinds which we must adhere to. All blinds come with cord tidies and quick release clips to prevent strangulation primarily of young children, but this also makes them safe around pets too.
Do you provide blinds as supply only?
Yes, if you’re happy to measure your windows and fit the blinds once they’re made, we’ll create them to your requirements and deliver them to you. You can see our online range here.
Why do I have to pay a deposit to place my order?
We make all blinds for the exact measurements of your windows, so we take a deposit to cover the materials and time involved. If you cancel your order after the blinds are made, it’s extremely hard for us to then fully reuse them for another customer.

We have over ten years experience, which makes us ideally placed to give you informative advice on choosing your blinds. It also gives you peace of mind that the blinds will be fitted to perfection when we return.
