Blinds for Bay Windows
There is no denying that if you live in a house with bay windows they are something you should be really excited about. Bay windows are a great feature for any room, it doesn’t matter if you are using the room as a lounge, dining room or family room.
Large feature windows allow lots of natural light to come into the room. They offer you a room with a view, this may be of your neighbourhood, garden or communal area.
One of the most common issues that we see is when people have used curtains rather than blinds for their window dressing. Curtains in their nature are made up from lots of material. This spreads over the window pane even when they are open, blocking out some of the natural daylight that we all crave.
Blinds are fast becoming the most popular way to dress a bay window. Why? When blinds are open they let in the maximum amount of natural light. This, in turn, makes your room look bright and airy whilst also offering privacy from the outside world.
Don’t get me wrong, it is not always the easiest option. Curved windows often mean you will need to use more than one blind but that’s not always the case. Let’s take a look at what options are available.
